You’ll get an exclusive opportunity to learn more about the ways we care for animals at Auckland Zoo! Hosted by one of our animal care experts, you’ll learn more about the special diets the animals receive, how we design animal habitats, how health checks are performed and what we do to promote natural behaviours. This is a special VIP experience like no other!

There are also five general admission double passes to Auckland Zoo up for grabs as runner up prizes.

Terms and Conditions

  • You must be 15 years or older to win the prize – if you are under 14, you must be accompanied by an adult as per our terms and conditions of entry.
  • Employees or agencies associated with Auckland Zoo cannot enter the competition.
  • Limited to one entry per person
  • To be eligible for the Care Experience, you must get at least four questions right
  • To be eligible for the double passes, you must get at least 3 questions right
  • You must provide correct personal details in order to enter the competition as we are notifying the winners via email
  • Competition closes Tuesday, 22 August 2021 - 5pm. The winners will be drawn on Wednesday, 25 August, 2022 and notified by email.
  • The Care Experience will be organised at a time that is suitable for the winner and Auckland Zoo staff
  • All eligible entrants must reside in New Zealand, Auckland Zoo take no responsibility for travel to and from the Zoo to claim the prize.
  • The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Photos may be taken of prize winners for promotional purposes
  • Prize must be claimed within 14 days, otherwise we reserve the rights to re-draw
  • Entries in the competition is deemed as accepting these terms and conditions.
