We’re Going Grey for World Elephant Day this Sunday 12 August!

Dress up in your best grey threads and join us at the zoo where we’ll have a mammoth day with two special elephant keeper talks at 11am and 2.15pm.

World Elephant Day is all about raising awareness for these precious pachyderms and the challenges they’re facing. As our elephants team leader Andrew says, there are great people out there doing great things to help elephants and “it’s about us all doing our little bit to try and make a difference”.

Join us in supporting these precious pachyderms!

Elephant team leader Andrew Coers discusses the conservation #WildWork we're involved in to conserve elephants.

You can make a difference simply by visiting Anjalee and Burma! Each time you visit, a portion of your ticket goes towards our #WildWork here at the zoo, in Sri Lanka and Sumatra! Learn more about the organisations we support here.

We’d also love for you to share the memories you’ve made (and make this Sunday!) with our elephants over the years on Facebook with the hashtag #GoGreyForWorldElephantDay.

Have you HERD? We’ve made it even easier to visit our zoo! Our tickets are cheaper at the zoo but you can also SAVE even more by booking your ticket in advance.
