The stylish, freestanding marquee is perfectly positioned to catch cool southerly breezes and makes a striking impression amid the manicured lawns of the Band Rotunda area. Maximizing its picturesque backdrop, guests enjoy the flexibility of being surrounded by various animal exhibits, and the flexibility of extending the function space by hiring this space in conjunction with Band Rotunda & other adjacent lawns.
The Marquee Band Rotunda sets a new standard in the Auckland Zoo function venues scene, offering a dynamic, upmarket choice for all events including weddings, conferences, product launches, corporate events, cocktail parties, birthdays and any celebration.
With generous dimensions – 10m x 16m, and impressive 6.5m ceilings – The Marquee is designed with functionality and catering in mind, comfortably accommodating intimate events from 110 guests to largescale functions and events by hiring adjacent lawns & Band Rotunda for an extra charge, with a maximum capacity of 600 stand-up guests, 800 cocktail party-style attendees, and roundtable banquet seating for 110 guests inside The Marquee Band Rotunda.
