Christmas Gift Guide 2017

It's only three more sleeps until Christmas and if you're looking for a unique and special gift to give your loved ones - look no further!

Our exclusive Bug Lab exhibition gift shop has gifts for kids and adults alike, from toys, books, puzzles and games to adult-friendly bug gifts like scarves, beetle shaped corkscrews and bottle openers!

We have an array of custom-made soft toys, many of which are the stars of Bug Lab themselves. There's the beautifully ornate jewel wasp with it's sequinned wings, the dragonfly with wings of guazy white, praying mantis, fluffy spider, monarch butterfly, honey bee and of course the best of them all - our native wētāpunga soft toy. Bugs have never been so cute! Be quick - as these are selling fast. 

For the curious and budding engineer we have solar powered bugs that walk powered by the sun's energy! These come in an array of different bug types - cockroach, spiders and more. 

We also have some delectable, edible (and sustainable!) treats to surprise your family with from New Zealand company Crawlers, we are selling their range of natural sugar-free insect lollipops featuring crickets, mealworms and ants. All of these edible insects are raised for human consumption and are collected fresh from the farm before being cleaned, cooked and dried. We also have packets of limited edition Mint Chocolate Locusts and Salted Caramel Scorpions on sale too. 

Our WildZone Gift Shop is also stocked with an array of toys, costumes, games and more - we're open this weekend so make sure to visit!
