Win a sneak-peek of Auckland Zoo’s #FutureZoo AND support our conservation work!

Before the first phase of our highly anticipated South East Asia Jungle Track opens to visitors, we’re giving one group (6-8 people) the exclusive opportunity to get a sneak peek of the High Canopy - a dynamic and immersive new habitat for our orangutans and siamang gibbons. All funds raised will go directly to our Conservation Fund to support the work of our staff and partners, conserving wildlife and wild places around the world.

The winner/s will receive a personal tour from our exceptional primate team leader Amy Robbins, who has played a key role in developing this habitat with our wider design team and construction partners. You’ll spend time learning about the species in our care and the science behind cutting-edge habitat design. You’ll also get an insight into the other parts of the South East Asia Jungle Track that are yet to be completed (Sumatran tigers, Asian small-clawed otters and a climate-controlled swamp forest for Sunda gharials!) and learn about the fascinating species to come.

After this special experience you’ll finish your morning by enjoying coffee and cake in our new Te Puna café - an incredible new dining space where our visitors will be able to watch the orangutans and siamangs making use of the aerial pathways to traverse out and over the Zoo’s central lake. After morning tea you’ll be free to go out and explore the Zoo at your leisure.

Entering is easy. Simply make a donation to our Conservation Fund via Everyday Hero by Wednesday 24th June and you’ll go in the draw to win. The winner will be randomly selected and announced via our social media channels on Thursday 25 June.

Every dollar raised in Auckland Zoo’s exclusive one-off experiences goes entirely to the Auckland Zoo Conservation Fund. So, not only are you in with a chance of winning a fantastic one-off experience, but you’re also contributing to a diverse range of conservation projects that help wildlife in Aotearoa and abroad.

Terms & Conditions: One entry per person. Sneak peek is dependent on the winner’s availability and whether they can visit between 26-30th June. For any time after the 30th, the tour will take place in the morning before the zoo opens to the public on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Sunday. The prize also includes zoo entry for all participants for the entire day.
