Our cotton-top whānau just got bigger! We're pleased to announce that Mrs Nuri recently gave birth to her third lot of twins in two years - boosting the numbers of these critically endangered tamarins as part of an international breeding programme for this species.

Mr and Mrs Nuri have given birth to two sets of twin girls in the past, which YOU helped us to name. The sex of these twins is still to be determined and once confirmed, we'll be asking you to help us name them in January.

You can watch our video on NZ Herald as primate keeper Jacqui discusses this exciting news and come and see them this week!
