We’re celebrating carnivores these school holidays

When you get to the Zoo, grab an activity sheet and search to see what carnivores you can find. You’ll put on your ‘keeper hat’ to understand how each species is cared for based on the 5 domains of animal welfare.

Plus, our cosy undercover venue The Domes will be open - with building blocks, puzzles, a reading corner and some tiger colouring-in!

Mānawatia a Matariki

We’re celebrating Matariki by reflecting, renewing and reconnecting with Papatūānuku.

In our new video series, Zoo kaimahi are sharing their personal connections with te taiao (the natural world).
