Kiwi’s Eat My Lunch, Compass Group and Auckland Zoo have come together to help with Eat My Lunches jumbo mission to ensure that no kiwi child goes to school hungry.

“Eat My Lunch boxes are a great new addition to the Zoo cafes, where visitors are now able to buy a delicious meal and also give a lunch to a child that went to school without one,” says Auckland Zoo’s retail and commercial manager Angela Clarke

A roaring success since it launched, Eat My Lunch has given over 700k lunches to date and Compass and the Zoo are now encouraging its 700k annual visitors to help add to this.

Compass Group Operations Manager Mark Hackett says, “We’re delighted that Auckland Zoo’s staff and visitors are buying the delicious Eat My Lunch meals at the Zoo’s busy cafés. Every little bit helps. Our team is genuinely happy to be part of this great initiative and to play a small part in helping kids, families and communities in need.”

With over 2000+ sandwiches made daily, giving lunches to 64 schools in Auckland, Hamilton and Wellington – Eat My Lunch is proving that every day we have the choice to make a difference, and that every lunch counts!

“We’re really excited to be partnering with Compass and Auckland Zoo, giving Zoo visitors the opportunity to Buy lunch and Give a lunch to a kiwi kid in need. Our partnership helps us get closer to our mission of ensuring no kiwi child goes to school hungry. We know the Zoo brings smiles to children when they visit, just like our Give lunches do when we deliver them each day at schools,” says Lisa King, CEO and Founder Eat My Lunch.
