Pygmy marmosets are one of the smallest primates, with their body length ranging from 14 to 16 cms (excluding the 15cm to 20cm tail). Males weigh around 140 grams, and females only 120 grams.

Native to the rainforest canopies of western Brazil, southeastern Colombia, eastern Ecuador, eastern Peru, and northern Bolivia.

Our pygmy marmosets share an enclosure with our golden lion tamarins in The Rainforest.
