New Friends of the Zoo membership benefit
Every
Wednesday from 10am to 11am, we're now offering you our Friends the
opportunity to come and enjoy an exclusive guided tour of
the Zoo.
Each week your Zoo guide will focus on a different area of the Zoo to explore, and share with you all the latest happenings there. As well as finding out so much more about our animals and activities, these walks are a great way to meet other members.
Walks will be at a leisurely pace to cater to everyone - from mums and dads with prams to those with other mobility requirements.
We'll meet at Darwin's café at 10am every Wednesday. No prior booking is required - just show up.
Gift memberships
A Friends of the Zoo annual membership makes a great gift for family, friends and loved ones!
If you would like to purchase a gift membership for any of the Friends of the Zoo options, simply complete the joining form or phone the Auckland Zoo Information Centre on +64 9 360 3805, and a gift certificate will be sent out to you or the recipient.
Conditions
- Membership privileges are available only on presentation of a current membership pass.
- Only those named and photographed on the pass are able to use their membership to gain free Auckland Zoo entry and discounts at Auckland Zoo and other approved places (excludes Flexi adult guest passes).
- Your membership pass is non-refundable, cannot be suspended, and is non-transferable.
- A Friends of the Zoo pass cannot be used in conjunction with Auckland Zoo Education (Discovery and Learning Centre) visits.
- To become an individual member you must be over 15.
- Friends of the Zoo passes are not valid for admission after 4.15pm or for evening events or private functions.
- Adults: 15 years+. Children: 4-14 years. Seniors: 65+years
- Other than free admission, Friends of the Zoo membership benefits are subject to periodic review and adjustment at the discretion of Auckland Zoo.
- Discount to Kelly Tarlton's applies only to Adult or Child admission.
- The discount on Zoo entry for friends and family applies to adult and child admission prices only, and is redeemed by presenting your pass at the cashiers
