Keeper for a Day
Our zookeepers think they have the best job in the world, and now we're giving you an opportunity to see what all the fuss is about.
Auckland Zoo's Keeper for a Day experience gives you the
chance to work alongside an experienced keeper and see a side of
the Zoo that's not on offer to any other visitors.
- Get close to, meet and hand-feed a huge variety of animals, many of which you can't get close to in any other way!
- Prepare the animals' food, their enrichment items and muck in and get dirty. Prepare yourself for a very hands-on day.
- Work alongside an experienced zookeeper and share their passion for these amazing animals.
When: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and
Saturday (9am - 3.45pm)
Price: $550 per person (includes morning tea,
lunch, a goodie bag, and you're welcome to stay in the Zoo for the
remainder of the day). If two people book in for a Keeper for
a Day experience together (couples or friends) on the
same date or voucher, you can get 10% discount
Minimum age to attend: 16 years
