Media Centre - filming and photography at Auckland Zoo

Auckland Zoo welcomes media both nationally and internationally. For a full list of Media Releases please visit our News Section. 

Filming  

Filming at Auckland Zoo is permitted, but must be first pre-arranged through the Communications Department. A filming request form must be completed and sent through, and a minimum of five working days notice is required to arrange filming.

Commercial filming at the zoo is subject to the scale of the production, and may incur a location fee, quoted per request.

PLEASE NOTE: All available filming slots up until the end of April 2010 are now filled.  We will therefore not be taking any more bookings until after 1 May.

Photography and Images

Photography is permitted at Auckland Zoo with prior request. Commercial photography may incur a fee. Please contact us here: zoonews@aucklandcity.govt.nz to discuss your photography request.

Images are available on request and must be credited to Auckland Zoo (unless otherwise stated). Use of images for commercial purposes may incur a fee. For image requests please contact us here: zoonews@aucklandcity.govt.nz
