I was at the Auckland Zoo yesterday (18.09.08)with my school which is Papatoetoe Intermediate which is located in South Auckland and it was a previlege to go there and learn a whole range of different new things at different xzibits which was really awesome. The Zoo conducters were really fasinating and I actually got to feed a live giraffe! it was scary at first and amzing at second. It had a blue and black tongue in colour which made me think to myself why it was dark in colour and not like ours. So I asked one of the conductors of the xzibit and she said that it is blue and black in colour becuse their habitat is really hot and their tongue stays cool. I found this really fasinating!! The view was incredible and peaceful and the adveture slide was cool because all my friends and I were playing inside it and rolling down the steep hills and climbing up the net wall. But all in all it was the funnest day for me, of this whole month because there were heaps of smiles and laughter. I recomend to others that they should go their with their friends.
