Food and Beverage options
Darwin's cafe caters for both adults and children, and offers a comprehensive range of hot and cold food, including themed kids' picnic boxes. A licensed cafe, Darwin's is open from 9.30am to 5pm every day except Christmas Day, when the Zoo is closed. It is also open for public evening events (5.30pm to 9pm).
Lion's Larder, a kiosk, is located in Lion's Plaza within the heart of Pridelands, and just alongside Elephant Clearing. In addition to drinks, it sells a range of hot and cold food, and is open at busy times.
WETA espresso café (next to Wild Zone Gift Shop) in the Entry Plaza offers a selection of cafe food. WETA also provides great tea and espresso coffee as well as cold drinks and ice creams for the kids.
Shopping
Wild Zone Gift Shop is open everyday from 9.30am to 5.30pm and is packed full of fun souvenirs, gifts, apparel, books and toys. Wild Zone holds 'Storytime' sessions with exciting animal stories, and, singing and dancing for pre-schoolers every Wednesday at 10am (excluding school holidays).

The Zoo offers a range of options to suit every hunger. Or, you can bring along a hamper and enjoy one of our many picnic sites throughout the Zoo.
