There are many exciting and innovative opportunities to support Auckland Zoo,  from sponsoring an exhibit, event or school holiday programme, to "Zoo experience" products, or even specialised equipment.

We offer several different levels of sponsorship, each with a specifically tailored benefits package.

So...who and what are you supporting?

Established in 1922, Auckland Zoo is home to the largest collection of native and exotic wildlife species in New Zealand (over 730 animals and 119 species).

A much-loved Auckland icon, the TV series The Zoo, which now screens in 96 countries, has helped position Auckland Zoo as a place of enormous interest to viewers both locally and throughout the world.

At the heart of all Auckland Zoo's work and activities is its mission: 'to focus the Zoo's resources to benefit conservation and provide exciting visitor experiences which inspire and empower people to take positive action for wildlife and the environment'.

Auckland Zoo has earned international recognition as an outstanding centre for conservation, recreation, research and education. Over the past few years, the Zoo has won many major national and international awards. Its modernisation of exhibits, dedicated staff, interactive visitor experiences, growth as a unique venue for functions and its exciting calendar of events combine to make Auckland Zoo a dynamic place for people to visit and enjoy.

Auckland Zoo is a member of both the Australasian Regional Association of Zoological Parks & Aquaria (ARAZPA) and the World Association of Zoos & Aquariums (WAZA). A key guiding document for the Zoo and how it operates is the ‘World Zoo and Aquarium Conservation Strategy' – and something that unites Auckland Zoo with all member zoos and aquariums in conservation efforts to ensure wildlife a future. At a more specific level, and equally important, is Auckland Zoo's Strategic Plan (2006 – 2010).

We aim to develop mutually beneficial partnerships that are in line with the goals of both the Zoo and our partner. Our aim is to understand your business objectives and help you achieve them using the Zoo as part of your strategy.
