The Zoo offers a range of outdoor venues. These can be used on their own, or together with a covered venue or animal shelter venue.
Band Rotunda
Located in the heart of the Zoo, the historic Band Rotunda is perfect for wedding ceremonies, intimate dinners and celebrations. The rotunda provides overhead coverage and the ambience of a unique outdoor setting.
Band Rotunda Lawns
Comprising of four lawn areas surrounding the historic Band Rotunda, each lawn can be booked separately and are perfect for formal or casual events. Marquees can also be erected on lawns.
Central Lawn
Set amongst picturesque flora, central lawn is a beautiful circular area close to great animal viewing areas such as the orang utans, sealions and meerkats.
Jamuna Plaza
A fabulous open air venue for a formal or casual event. Jamuna Plaza is located in front of the Old Elephant House and close to great night-time animal viewing.
Willow Island
A lush garden island surrounded by water and located in the heart of the zoo. Willow Island is accessed by the historic Peter Pan Bridge and is perfect for wedding ceremonies, formal and casual events.
